USA during Civil War.

I am a little more familiar with that period of history, not to mention liking to learn about it.

The only problem is that the teacher has so much influence. The class can be biased toward either end of the war, neither of which is profitable.

Either World War One (it changed the world so much and involved so many countries it just seems really important) or USA During the Civil War (since I live in the US it has more meaning than the other courses).

I love the Civil War Era, because I love a lost cause.

Actually two appeal to me and I have taken courses in both:

Viking age Scandinavia
American Civil War

I'd say Imperial Russia or Viking Age Scandanavia, simply because they're pieces of history high school simply doesn't have enough time to cover.

The Civil War is fascinating, but like another poster said, there can be a bias for one side or the other.
