I like games like "The Hobbit" and "Jak". I've completed "Jak 3" and I now have the first edition of "Jak", which is not as good . I just picked up "Ratchet and Clank" recently, but I haven't started it. Are there any other cool games for PS2 out there that are like these games?.... Nothing too complicated, easy controls, and a good plot.

The Jak games and the Ratchet and Clank games aren't RPGs, they are action/platformers. But there are some good action RPGs that combine the genres. I recommend Dark Cloud 2, Star Ocean - Till the End of Time, and Rogue Galaxy. If you like to try a unique action/adventure game, Shadow of the Colossus is fun. If you like pure action and are able to buy M rated games, I recommend God of War 1 & 2, and Devil May Cry 3.

Another awesome game that sadly seems to only be on Xbox 360 and the PC is Fable. I love it. You'd probably like it.
Dark Cloud II & Xenosaga are two other RPG's that are on the PS2. Of course you can't go wrong with Final Fantasy and it's vast following either.

I believe there is the Lord of the Rings Series.
Final Fantasy and, perhaps, Might and Magic.
On a more realist side, you also have the whol Call to Arms (WWII scenarios) series that I find overall easy on control and very cool
