There are many people that respect Oprah but i do not care for her very much. Anyone else agree?

if anyone agrees with me can you tell me why? if you are an Oprah fan, please do not answer as i do not wish to be attacked for my opinion.

Hello,

Overall she has a good show and does listen to diverse opinions and both sides of an argument.

I disagree with her on two things:

1) That great success and fame comes only by your hard work and diligence. I think not; connections and friends are a very important factor in this and I have never met anyone of wealth and fame that had not been given some sort of help and support along the way. Relativity (not Einstein's) is something that is not explained well in schools or by guidance consulars.

2) As we are in R&S here, Christ taught that if you wish to do great works and charities, do it very secretly. This is a mistake made by many celebrities from movie to rock stars.
If you are doing it and praise is awarded and your ratings go up, in the eyes of your peers and public, that is just great but you have negated all these works in the eyes of God.
