I was 4 months late, and it turned out to be just stress and wacky hormones... I was also moody and crampy the whole time...... Every test I took was neg....... But I am guessing that the stress of thinking I was prego just added to the problem - thus causing my period to show up.
Ask for a blood test from you obgyn.... Tell him/her what is going on, and request a blood test (specifically say no to the pee test, however depending on your insurance the blood test may cost you)
This could be caused by a number of things:
Change in diet
Stress amount
Exercise increase
Excessive weight loss
hormone variance
medications - like new birth control pill
If any of these are the issue, try to do the opposite (ie, exercise less, stop the crash diet, ask your obgyn to change your birth control etc.)
Good Luck, Hun!

You are really worried & that can affect your menstrual cycle. Ask your doctor about irregularity on the cycle. You don't say how old you are but if you've had 3 negative tests and having mood swings try to plan something that will keep you busy for the next month.

Stress can delay your period, as well as a radical change in eating habits, or just taking birth control pills or any type of birth control, as well as a change in medication. I would say go see your doctor, get a test, ultrasound, and if nothing comes up, then you're not pregnant. Maybe you're suffering from depression? I don't know. Do you have any history of an eating disorder?

you could be under a lot of stress, which would cause your period not to come. pregnancy symptoms are typically very tender breasts (we're talking BRUSHING BY THEM HURTS), your lower abdomen feels hard, bloating, general discomfort, exhaustion or insomnia, and moodiness. when was the last time you took a test?

pregnancy tests like urine tests are somewhat reliable but if you really want to be sure and to have peace of mind, have yourself checked by a gynecologist.if you're not pregnant, you might really just be delayed on your period and the doctor could also help you on this.

It can be many things, such as stress or just your body is undergoing changes. Just keep on taking the tests here and there, just dont stress over it, eventually it will go away, but to be on the safe side go to this website.

Hormones. Ask your MD to check your hormones. All those symptoms can be caused by hormones. Also, if you're around two months pregnant your doctor should be able to do other tests to find out for sure.

Go back to your doctor. Period may have stopped because of stress. There are medications to make it start again and that may help your mood.
Good luck!

You might have a double X-chromosome syndrome. This is not as rare as some people believe. The one solace for people with this syndrome is that they will not die because of it, but it makes them cranky all the time.

Have you doctor take a blood test and if it is still negative then you might have something wrong with your uterus. In that case you need to go to your obgyn and figure out what is wrong.
