I tried them last year, on a dare from my friends and was pleasantly surprised. They really take on the flavor of what they are cooked with. Mine were garlic butter and man were they tasty. I let my friends try them after I ate them, and when our waiter came back, we ordered 3 more servings.

I tried them one time. They were very tough, and not much taste. Mostly tasted like garlic. Don't think I'll try them a 2nd time.

Don't fancy trying them myself but I have a friend who says it's like chewing rubber bands and the only flavour is what is added when they're cooked.

They were good and full of garlic flavor but all I could think of was them crawling around my yard. Yes, I know they are grain fed on farms and blah, blah, blah but just the thought was gross although they were good.

No. But from everyone else's description, they sound like something I wouldn't want to try.

They are delicious.....I usually prepare them in tomato sauce with a lot of garlic and herbs.
