Honestly....yesssss....I confess....
Sometimes I glance, sometimes I linger on, and sometimes I full on undress them with my eyes.
I don't think of them as meat, per say, I just enjoy feasting my eyes on the visual candy.
When I find a man that intrigues me...I check him out....and sometimes....think about what he would be like....his lips pressed against mine....held tight against his chest....running my fingernails down his backside...breathing in his scent....ooh I better stop right about there....
yes....I absolutely love me some eye candy ;)
Edit: oh and for the record...I don't get offended when men stare at me...I don't consider it rude...even if I'm not into them...I consider it a compliment, in fact I love that men fantasize about me...I love knowing that they'll be thinking of me that night ....and I wish them happy endings... ;)

I think people are taking her question for more than it was. Ok, maybe so some don't get turned on, but seeing the answers wasn't really surprising, but women sure shrug things off or deny sometimes. I hear how women don't look and check out guys bodies. Yeah I'm sure it's less or not like guys, but all I know is women aren't telling the full truth. I have had a good amount of girls "discreetly" check out my butt in highschool and parties, hang outs, etc. And don't tell me it was just appreciation of beauty, but there was some ogling or sexual merit when I caught them discreetly staring, lol, kind of like "eye candy", I guess. So probably not turned on, but to say there was absolutely no sexual merit is a lie. You ladies are just so discreet, lol, something guys should learn. Guys wonder why women always notice when they look and stare. Well I pretty sure the whole world could tell with how guys look and gawk, lol.
It's kind of refreshing to see that women actually have a sexual pulse in them, even though like I said that I realized that many do, but so readily deny things, maybe that's just because of the stigma of society of women showing some sexual pulse in them though. Or societal conditioning at work as well.
Edit: Don't you think you are missing something here Thing550?
I would think appreciation of beauty and admiration would be a little different for the straight person when looking at the opposite sex as opposed to the same sex.

Ahem, yeah, I do actually. Love to stare at a good looking guy and I won't go into what thoughts I have at the time. ;) I figure if it doesn't go farther than a little bit of sly staring, there's no harm done.
Edit: I thought I did answer your question? I admitted to admiring a hot guy for his looks alone, thinking whatever it is that I want without it going any farther. Is that not what you were asking? Enlighten the masses, my friend.
BTW, I'm female, born and bred, and I figure if guys can stare at a hot woman and think what they like, then so can women. Harmless and inspirational. ;) Also don't mind if a guy stares at me either. What's fair for one is fair for the other. Nothing wrong with being admired and desired. :-)

This may sound totally weird--could also be a function of my impending middle age--but:
I can look at a beautiful, even voluptuous, woman, and be impressed by her physical attractiveness on a solely aesthetic, nonerotic level. That's right, with no naughty thoughts, but still caught up in the draw of her beauty.
Y'know, I don't think I'm that weird after all, come to think of it. (Well, not for THAT reason, anyway.) I suspect that, despite all the bluster and venom surrounding the male-as-perpetual-horndog you hear, there are lotsa men just like me. Yes, hetero. Who can look at a woman and not immediately get caught up in instantaneous sexual fantasy, even if we DO unbutton a casual button or two with our eyes.

I out grew that years ago!! But, as a young single man, I was a player, and guilty of the charge. And many times without being brassen,or crude, a nice smile, a bit of humor and the ladies would let you know if they had an intrest in your intrests! Grocery stores & malls were better hook up places, than bars!!

Women being "looked at as meat" is a little more involved than just the physical action of seeing.
Everyone can appreciate and enjoy the beauty of the human form, but not everyone regards others as something they can use for their own benefit without caring if the 'meat' wants it, too.
Cheers :-)

I don't mind if a man looks and stares...looksies but no feelsies.
Of course woman look at men as sexual objects. Are you a woman with a pulse? Okay then...you've looked. Unless you're a homosexual...and then you'd just be looking at someone of the same sex that way.
There's bigger things to worry about than a few sideways glances....or prolonged glances...if you're daring.

Yeah. It's fun to speculate on the sexual prowess of an attractive stranger! If I'm in class and am feeling particularly bored, it's one of the best ways to pass the time.

When I was young, girls, as horny as they were (teenagers..) stared at boys all the time too. I was stared at a bit myself, and i didn't feel like a piece of meat. Perhaps women can feel like pieces of meat if a complete stranger checks you out a bit (nothing creepy, I mean). But im sure most of them, if they get to know you, wouldn't just think of you as a piece of meat.

I don't get offended when someone checks me out, I may get creeped out depending on the situation but I usually find it rather flattering. And yes I catch myself doing the same to certain men, especially the butt region. Very nice. =)
