2-3[-4+6]÷ (-2)

I don't understand how to simplify and I really need some help with this. Any explanations as to the order of operations and what to do to actually simplify, and what simplifying really is would be a great help. I just started an Algebra class, and I feel so lost!

-6+6=2 so now u have 2-3[2]/(-2) NOW U DO 3X2=6 THEN 6/-2= -3 2- -3 =5.

WHEN U HAVE A PROBLEM SUCH AS 4- -8 ADD THE OPPOSITE SO IT WOULD BE 4+8=12

2-3[-4+6] ÷ (-2)

The first order of operations is parentheses.

2-3[2] ÷ (-2)

Then multiplication and division from left to right.

2 - 6 ÷ (-2)
2 - (-3)

Then addition and subtraction from left to right.

2 + 3 = 5

do everything in parenthesis first so: (-4+6)=2
2-3= -1 and -1(2)= -2 and -2 divided -2 equals 1

you do what is in the parenthases first. so -4+6 is two. then you do 2-3 which is -1

so now you have 2*-1 which equals -2
then you divide by negative two

-2/-2 equals

ONE
