de@r be@uTy,
Yes, life is a stage and we act all the time.
We are going to face the reality when we will realize that we have done a lot of acting and now that it is high time.
We will realize and speak the truth when we will realize that we are wrong and we will realize that world is full of lies and crimes.
We will realize the truth when we will be guilty of our own deeds...that's it...tc....sweet dreamz...bye...

Yes life is a stage and we are acting itself all the time by facing the reality. We humans try to make life go easy by the way we want but when it is not possible we accept the reality and talk the truth by saying this is life we have to accept it.

We don't act as much as perform. We say lines, and it is for the most part improvisation. In this improvisation, we do face reality, and we do talk the truth.
Some face it better than others. Some use stealth to get through this life, and others brag how perfect, honest, real, etc. that they are.
Life is what you have, and the stage is set. If you don't like the stage, strike the set, and put up a new one. Every play can have a second or even a third act.

well, i honestly agree with what you said, that life is indeed a stage where we act all the time. in regards to facing reality and talking truth, we should do that all the time. being an actress in the stage called life does not mean that we have to lie and live in a world of make belief. life provides us the platform to be ourselves and act the role, in the name of righteousness, truth, and love, so as to address every scenario that we do and are to confront.
god bless! =)

Since the beginning of recorded time Gentleman people have behaved as though they are on dtage in a play/We are in in Self-Deception or Bad Faith. We play the roles others expect us to play. The politician plays that part, the carpenter plays his role, the store owner does what the public expects of him.
On and on it has gone through the centuries, until it has been ingrained into societal behavorial expectations. The truth is we are each of us a multiplicity of selves.Let's say "Joe" who lives down the street is a politician,a father,a sports fan,a student of life and academically,.etc...The truth is we are a multiolicity of selves. The only people who know this about us are our closest friends.
All of the people we don't know on a personal basis we hold reservations towards or we downright mistrust. This is the root of the problem. We grow up mistrusting strangers. It is ingrained into us.It is an impossible task to know everyone else in the world.A beginning might be to start with tolerance towards different races, religions, creeds, nationalities, and those who are different from us in one way or another.
Look at us.Different in nearly all aspects, however we became like brothers. The Y/A society is composed of various races, creed, religions, nationalities, and other differences. We answer each other's questins and answers without distinction to any of those factors. There may be members who do harbor suchprejudices, bit they have the sense to keep their mouths shut concerning them.
This is a beginning Gentleman. This is why I try to befriend as many members as my consciousness can keep track of.I want to learn as much as possible about those who have differences.I want us to be able to respect one another.I would want tolerance to prevail over mistrust.I would like to abolish unbased hate.Abolish the feelings of superiority that one group feels toward another.
Only after meeting these conditions will the reality of truth talk begin. (In the 1st sentence I meant as players on a stage...).Your Always Pal larry m

i share your bad habit of generalizing things i percieve in my own life, carrying them over to apply to everyone and the whole world. i've also experienced feeling this way that you describe.
resolving this issue starts with you. it's difficult to warm up to being genuine if you only know yourself behind a mask, but it can be done! baby steps, and keep your eyes on the prize!
finding a friend who you feel is very good at being straightforward would be useful for teaching you how to be moreso.
