de@r gEntlE m@n,

Yes, we all want to impress people all the time.

We do this because it is natural. We always want to leave a very good impression on people. We do that because we want that people should like us and that our names should come in the impress people list.

What we achieve is self-satisfaction, happiness and a feeling that we are tooo good. But sometimes this feelings leads us to over-confident and we act as if we are very smart and intelligent. But people get irritated by such character and nature of a person and they really don't get impressed.

So we need to impress people by being in limits and by doing a little bit of acting and not over-acting. Because people usually hate over-acters....

And there is always 1 famous saying,
" FIRST IMPRESSION IS THE LAST IMPRESSION...".......tc....sweet dreamz...bye...

Earlier I was trying to impress people by being good to them and make them feel good but I have stopped it because i have achieved nothing from that other than getting hurting back. I am living my way by being me. I don't want to impress any one further.

Because people like to be noticed and liked. We try to impress people for all sorts of reasons. Hopefully people grow older and wiser and know that it's better to be accepted just as who you are. If you really have to impress someone in order for them to be your friend, ..... are they really a friend? A good example is a rich person impresses new friends with his/her money. After the money runs out the friends leave.

Because it is in our self interest to be impressive. In a world of competition, those that impress others with their power, wealth, intelligence, beauty, style, humanity, leadership, accomplishments, or abilities have greater opportunities than those that do not.
Knowing this, those that have little with which to impress others go to great lengths to make it seem as though they do.

And so it goes.

Everyone wants to be in good books of people. I guess that is why. they also want to prove to be best. We achieve respect is what I think. I always impress people by how friendly and nice I am. All my talents and abilities are recognised by them very quickly and I find a place in their hearts even before I know it and they know it.Don't you think so?

because people dont understand that such appreciation is superficial and fickle, that genuine appreciation which is peace and satisfaction with ones self comes from ones own self first, when we know we did the right thing and that an appreciation or insult doesnt change the vices and virtues in us
People do all this to pamper thier ego..but its human and we people always do a lot of silly and innocent things
