Yes, may be.
I think it is nature for others to talk about other people, everyone seem to do it, some of it will be positive or negative.
What they say behind my back, I would not know, may be better if I do not know.
as for a reputation for being 'naughty'.
I know a few men , who seem to chase women for sex all the time, brag about that can call lots of females for no sting sex, anytime type of thing, but then moan about women coming up to them for sex, like it bad !!!!
Makes me thing, if they are after women for sex so much as they say, why do they not like it, when a women comes after them ?
Unless you mean by naughty, something else, like knocking on people doors & running away before they answer ?

They put in a new principal at the elementary school. Before I ever met her I left her a letter with my request for a certain teacher as my child's Kindergarten teacher. When I told her secretary what the note requested she rolled her eyes. I told her it was okay to explain to the new lady how tenacious I could be about getting my way. Turns out the new principal was a dear friend of my daughter's paternal grandma...she told me exactly how badly I was described and that was the reason she honored my request.
