He not overrated people jus make it seem like he's overrated. Steve Nash is a great player if u don't believe look at his stats. Steve Nash is the most unselfish player in the NBA. I think he will be a hall of famer one day.

Steve Nash is not an overrated player. He lives us to the hype made about him, and he also plays air tight defense. He is if anything, a tad bit underrated. I say this because he makes everyone around better, by getting everybody involved, and playing with a lot of aggressive emotion.

A lot of the guys in the NBA have no D. I don't think he is overrated at all he gets right about the amount of props he deserves.

no, he is rated just fine. his shooting ability is UNDERrated. him and ray allen are probably the 2 best shooters in the nba. he shoots ft 95%, 3s like 55% and fg like 55%, all unreal numbers. he is probably the best ball handler in the nba and definetely the best passer and decision maker. he also is in great shape and is a great teamate and leader. as far as his defense, he isn't as bad as people think but he still isn't good but that isn't overrated, everyone knows he is bad at defense. almost everyone thinks this about him, he is a great ball handler, shooter and passer but can't play defense, why is that overrating him?

Overrated? NO way..

He passes extrodinary, FT% is always 90+ and I think this season it is 96+ and he shoots the 3 well.

He makes everyone around him better.

he just fits the suns' system so well and gives the team exactly what the team needs. floor leadership and outside shooting. things that made him RATED in the first place. he's just fortunate that he plays for a team that doesn't rate defense highly.
