I have been re-married for 4 years now to a wonderful man...my last relationship (my ex husband of 12 years) decided he needed to cheat on me with a 19 year old girl. That was it...I kicked him to the curb and never looked back.

We were three hours apart and both worked demanding jobs...Being that we had been best friends for years and knew how he was, I should have seen it coming, he cheated on me with his ex. They are now happy and have a child together... Although it took a while to get over it, we are all now back to being friends, and I am happily engaged to the right guy...

I don't want a man who cannot be self-sufficient. I gave him ten years of my life - stupidly thinking that he would grow up with me and move on to bigger and better things soon, like me (or at least adequate things). Never happened. He's still living with mommy which wouldn't be so bad if he was going to school to learn how to support himself, but he isn't.
Sad waste of a nice man, really.

We were too opposite. I am outgoing, liberal, atheist. He's conservative, reclusive and Baptist. We were on a strong sexual attraction initially toward one another.. but that doesn't sustain a relationship forever.
We're still friends, it's easier to be friends when we aren't putting our opinions in one another's face every day.

He was a selfish a**...We had been together 2 yrs...I had 2 kids before we got together...He moved me to TX to be with him....them asked me to give up my kids....Of course I told him to jump in a lake & left him!
