It's a mid-size crossover SUV. For the money, I would buy a Toyota product instead. The resale will be much higher as well as if you decide to drive the vehicle until it dies, you will get by far many more trouble free miles with a Toyota. I have 3 Toyotas. I drive a 1992 Toyota Paseo 5-speed that has 288,000 miles on it and it runs perfectly. The a/c broke years ago and I never fixed it so it only gets driven spring, fall and winter. It has a heater like a blast furnace. Go Toyota.

MItsubishi are soft - lose value quickly. Believe me, I used to sell cars and Mitsu's were not popular resales or, trade-ins.

Protect your investment by looking around for, as the other poster said, a Toyota. :o)

Stay away from Honda unless you're going to go with their large size SUV. I can't stand CRV's.

I think it's consumer under rated. Mitsubishi's 4wd keep winning the dakkar rally in Africa. I'd say go for it.
