I don't understand why people don't r.s.v.p! It's not hard to do...you only have put the already stamped envelope back in the mailbox or just give a 2 minute call. Why do so many people not r.s.v.p?

I don't know I don't like that either because you need to know how much food to buy, how many favors, how many places to set, etc. depending on the type of party or event you are throwing. What needs to happen one good time to a person who doesn't RSVP is they should get stopped at the door of the party and be told "Sorry, you are not on the list" that'll teach them lol.

I honestly never know if im supposed to actually call or not.....

I can see for a wedding, if they send a reply card, absolutely yes i will return that, so that can help with their planning....

but for like birthday party invites the kids bring home from school, i never know whether im supposed to call or if that RSVP line is just to list a telephone number in case I have any questions....

Because if you sent invitations for a certain amount of people then you should already be prepared to host that many guest .

I hate when my family send the RSVP notes its like I'll come if i can and if i don't I'm sure there is a good reason i didn't.

besides people don't like to commit because things happ and that's how people get disappointed.

I dunno....people just can't be bothered anymore. What's worse they don't respond but show up for an event anyway...
