No. That is one of the worst reasons to have a child. In addition, it doesn't prove a person is not gay. Lots of gay men and women have kids.

NO WAY! THAT DOESN'T PROVE ANYTHING EXCEPT YOU CAN BEAR A CHILD! What about the child? WHY do you have to PROVE you are not gay? Gay women have babies all the time, by artificial insemination. It doesn't prove a thing. If you are gay, you may have just had sex with a man, even though it disgusted you and you could get pregnant. Doesn't prove a thing. Gay woman can be raped and can get pregnant. Doesn't prove anything. Gay men can get a woman pregnant, it has nothing to do with whether or not he is gay. The parts still work, he just closes his eyes and thinks of Brad Pitt or something. You are who you are and YOU know you are not gay. Or are you? So what about what other people may think. People need to accept you for who you are anyway. If not, get new friends. You need to hang around more positive people who trust you. Or are you talking about someone else having a baby to prove they are not gay? No that's not a good idea.

I think that having a baby to prove you are not gay has to be the worst reason I've ever heard for bringing another child into the world.
Oh - and it doesn't "prove" anything. There are plenty of gay people who have had children.

You should father a baby when you are ready to take on the responsibilities of parenting. Bringing a baby into the world does not prove anything except that you have sperm. Gay men and lesbian women have babies so doing so does not prove anything. Only when you and your wife are ready to take on the responsibility of a family should you consider fathering a wonderful child.

Seeing as you can now get pregnant without having sex I would say that getting pregnant would prove nothing other than that you have personal issues that you need to sort out. If you feel like going that far to prove you are not gay, then you should not procreate.

The only thing having a baby proves is that you know where to put it and that it's in working order.

No, you should have a baby because you want one and can afford it and can give it a good home, life, and love. You don't have to prove anything to anybody.
Being gay is your business and only your business. Like or you male or female. We dress to let others know which we are, but that is our comfort not others.
But I wouldn't bring a child into the world for anyone other than myself because I want it. Poor child if you did.

Great...another reason to treat babies as appendage and not the humans that they are.
If a gay person wants to have a child or adopt one, they should be able to since they can be as loving a parent as any straight person, perhaps even more.
But just to use the baby to prove something?
Sad as that is, its also sad that society would be hostile enough to make someone think they need to do that in order to be accepted.

No, that would be a very idiotic thing to do.
Why?
That's like asking "should a person have a baby just to prove a point?"
The only reason anyone should ever want to have a baby is with their loved one because they want to raise a family or to help an orphan/foster kid and whatnot.
