An excellent question.

Just think, if we elect Giuliani as President, we can get both!

Too bad about all the conservative people asking for "proof" or saying it is a silly question.

Conservatives do not know proof no matter how many times you give it to them. Just look at the evolution debate. Despite 150 years of giving them proof, they still deny it.

I have no idea how conservatives can keep a straight face anymore when talking about how wonderful they think Bush is.

We were just given proof Bush has been lying about the Iran situation since at least August. It makes me sick.

I could care less about Bill's BJ, he wasn't impeached for that anyway. He was impeached for 2 felonies, Obstruction of Justice and Perjury. Even that wasn't as bad as him ineffectiveness in dealing with the Bosnian conflict in the Balkans, Failing to deal with Bin Laden when given multiple opportunities to eliminate the threat, and his half hearted attempts at dealing with terror attacks and foreign policy issues. Yes, Bill, you lobbed a cruise missile on a milk factory. Nice job. Now you can return your attention to 1 of the 20 or so scandals that raged throughout your 8 years in office.

I bet you've waited all day to get that talking point out there. So original. I know that you're referring to President Clinton lying to the country about his conduct in the oval office when he should have been focusing on capturing Bin Laden. He was probably too busy anyway trying to downsize the military and sell nuclear secrets to China.

Sorry, but this is a ridiculous question.

Your question assumes that we have to choose one over the other. Why can't I chose a President who lies over neither (assuming that Bush lied about the need for war, which I am not willing to concede)?

Here is another point to consider. If Bush lied about the need to go to war, how did it benefit him? Post 9/11 and after the invasion of Afghanistan, he had some of the highest popularity numbers in history. He could have taken a two year nap, cruised to an easy re-election victory, and coasted out his second term in ease. But he didn't. Why? Maybe he risked all of this because he believed that making sure that Iraq did not have WMD's was necessary for the American people.

Clinton's lie was out of pure selfishness. He put the country through an impeachment process because of his own shortcomings. His actions only benefitted himself, the mark of a selfish man.

I agree! I don't believe that a lie about sex has any significance at all, but a lie about war is truly a serious offense against humanity! *sm*

It's the conduct of a gentleman to lie about sex -- if it happened and it's a denial.

To lie about the need for war that results in:
Thousands of US military deaths;
Tens of thousands of serious US military injuries;
Millions of Iraqi refugees;
A hundred thousand Iraqi deaths;
Trillions of dollars in US war debt;
A severely weakened and overextended US military;
Lost standing for the US among the world of nations;
A house -- a nation divided;
And a host of other unintended consequences
alas is a lie that places this President Bush in a very special category.

I'll take a president who lies about sex.

Unfortunatley if you make the assumption that Bush lied you show that you dont know what your talking about.

The head of the CIA was a "clinton" hold over.

He is the one that advised the Joint Chiefs and Bush that WMD in IRAQ was a "slam dunk"!

Look up your facts before calling someone a liar.
