to wear to my Husband's company Christmas party??
He said something about a stairwell being involved, so I don't know if I should get really dressed up or what...

It's a Christmas party so I would get dressed up. A dress is always nice but personally, I like skirts better. Black is always safe but for a holiday party, maybe a red skirt (mid to longer length ... ok, a mini would be ok too by me ;-) ) and maybe a white blouse and red high heels (not too high though ... the stairs). Or, I think my favorite choice, a nice black skirt with a red satin blouse and black high heels would look fantastic.

When planning on visiting the back stairwell during a party one must always wear a dress or skirt and any panties must be crotchless.

Depends on what type of company your husband works for. Does he work for a huge company and has his own executive suite or does he work for McDonalds?
I'd probably do a business casual. Thats always the best way to go!

A typical black dress, knee length, worrks every time. Let me clarify that the only reason why I know is because my female roomate is very fashion savvy, and knows just what to wear for any occasion, and she owns a few of those little black dresses.

If it was me, this is when i would whip out that lil' black dress. Throw it on and add one color, like if u choose red pick red high heels, jewlrey and nail polish. Or if ur husband wears like black and blue, then pick blue so you'll match!

You can never go wrong with a little, basic, black dress. Take two pairs of shoes with you so you can change them and change the level of fomality.
