Let's say it again. . .
The standard for impeachment as defined in the Constitution is "high crimes and misdomeanors". Clinton wasn't impeached because he lied; he was impeached because he committed perjury. Whether or not that rises to the level of "high crimes and misdomeanors" is debatable, and that is what Congress did.
Bush has committed no crime that we are aware of. First of all, you don't even know that he is lying about Iran. All you have is an intelligence report that thinks that Iran is not pursuing nuclear weapons. How do they know this? Does Iran allow complete unfettered access to its nuclear facilities? Even the Europeans have backed sanctions against Iran.
Secondly, it would not be a crime if he lied. Granted, the American people wouldn't appreciate it, but if every politician who lied was thrown out of office, Washington DC would be a ghost town.

Oh, wait a minute, isn't that what they impeached invoice Clinton for. properly then in keeping with probability yet i'm confident that if investigations have been finished that they could locate assorted rates to question. consisting of spying on good individuals, there is likewise the worldwide ingredient of keeping prisoners against Geneva convention policies. Torture, and different issues that we've completed, he could desire to be tried for those atrocity's additionally.

Uh, apparently you don't understand the nature of the NIE reports. There is no conclusive evidence or proof offered, just what the gathered intelligence indicates and what their confidence is in that intelligence.
Remember, the intelligence on Iraq had WMD as a "slam dunk". Without actual verification, even the most confident intelligence can be wrong. The NIE assessment is based on probabilities, not actual 100% verifiable evidence.
They are highly confident that Iran has suspended, not abandoned, its nuclear weapons research, but has not dismantled the labs, and can quickly and easily re-start it.
And they continue weapons work that has crossover applications to nuclear weapons, and nuclear energy research that has crossover application to nuclear weapons.
I fail to see the alleged "blatant lie".
We're better off being skeptical about Iran abondoning its nuclear weapons research and being wrong than we are believing it has done so and being wrong.

Bush should have been impeached in 2001 for stealing the 2000 election. Starting impeachment proceedings against him now would be folly as it would tie up the U.S. government, make political progress even more unlikely than it is now and certainly take longer than the rest of his term. The most I think we anti Bush types can hope for is the possibility of civil and criminal proceedings against him after he's out of office, and I wouldn't hold my breath for that. Bryan H. first lie: "I solemnly swear to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States" a lie spoken, not just under oath but while taking an oath.

Ugh... perpetual presidential denegration... I'm so tired of hearing this crap.
The blatant lie is the idea that libs have that everything is Bush's fault.
Since 2003? or was this just a political ploy that Iran pulled?
Its been 4 years since 2003 sir.
Things have changed since 2003, the world isnt static, and Iran has given us every reason to believe they have continued this program in pursuit of nuclear weapons.
Could it also be that the Intelligence report is flawed? How can ONE document that flies in the face of everything else we know about Iran... trump everything else?
Anything to point the finger at the president.
Bush Derangement Syndrome got you down?

You don't pay much attention do you? Bush (and no one has contradicted him) said that he was told about the report LAST WEEK and that the report wasn't complete. So much for your lie...
As a legal matter this witness (NIE) would be totally discredited on a witness stand. You first said that Iran was making nukes and now you say they are not. So which is it? Whats changed? Aren't you all the same people that said Iraq also had weapons of mass destruction? Did we ever find those? Don't you have a habit of telling the President unsupported allegation and calling them facts?
Continue down this path and you become one of the zombies...

This impeachment talk is even more useless than when it was talked about over Clinton. And he lied under oath. Those are actual grounds for it, and it still didn't happen.
Bush and every government leader, relies on the best intelligence he has at the time and it's not always accurate. Monday morning quarterbacking is simply useless. Impreachment will never happen. There are no grounds for it and those calling for it just show their ignorance of what is required for actual impeachment. Please do your homework BEFORE you open your lips. It will save your listeners time and will keep you from looking unintelligent.

You cannot be impeached for lying, since lying is not a rime. Had he lied under oath, that would be perjury, an impeachable offense. If politicians were arrested every time they lied, the jails would be full and we'd have no politicians.
