Earth is the only planet explored thus far where life is known to exist. Unless & until enough acceptible evidence is found to effectively dispute the notion, it will be accepted as "fact", regardless of how arrogant or narrow minded you might think it is.
Remember that science is about what you can prove using facts, and any theory, no matter how nice or probable, has to stand against empirical evidence.
Now why do you make the assumption that since the Earth is the only planet where life is proven to exist, everyone who accepts that as a "fact" regards the rest of the universe as "a pointless waste of space"?
Also, how does this justify your next statement "what makes people think they have some privilege as humans?"
And because you've just demonstrated you ignorance, genetic studies in mitichondrial DNA have shown that all members of H. Sapiens can trace their ancestory back to a single female about 250,000 years ago.
Also realize the story of Adam & Eve exists in Judism & Islam as well as Christianity, so if you're gonna use the story to slam people with a religious faith as stupid, be prepared to slam adherents of all three religions equally.
If this was an honest attempt to gain knowledge, I suggest a regime of reading & thinking would be more productive.
If, however, you were using the question(s) as a polemic so you could have a little rant, let me say that it was poorly done.
Try focusing your topic matter & supporting yourself with facts.

Nobody knows about this so it is foolish to be dogmatic. One thing is certain though - for most of the history of life on Earth, there was nothing intelligent here. Some people say this is still true.
The chances are however that the local equivalent of bacteria will be the only life on another planet. For most of it's history, this was true of Earth. Until recently in geological terms the smartest things on this planet were apes, so there is no reason to expect that life on any other planet will be any smarter.
Just because there may be life on a distant planet does NOT mean it is flying spacecraft around the place or even banging rocks together.
My advice about "Christians" is that there are many kinds. Those who deny the fact of evolution for instance are led by frauds and fools. Scientists and even the leaders of several other churches know it but are too good-mannered to say so.

All we can say at this point that is accruate is the earth is the only planet that WE KNOW OF at this time that has life, I totally agree that out of the billions and billions of galaxys and trillions upon many more trillions of stars there is bound to be a planet or rock or any other thing that is in a habital zone there has to be life other than ours,, The possibilitys are just endless,, But as we all know at this time the earth is the only planet that we know of to support life,,

They can say whatever they like, and they will continue to do so ad nauseum. And stupidity is a relative thing. We are all stupid to some degree. I personally believe that there is not only life but much more intelligent life out beyond Earth. And I agree with you that to think otherwise is "narrow minded". But maybe we're wrong? We won't know for sure until we find that life for ourselves. (You will get much heat on this question with your comments about Eve.... That's okay. It's a good question.)

I know of no-one who has said that Earth is the only planet with life.
It's just that we have not yet seen any evidence of life anywhere else. Our viewing abilities are so far limited, of course. We haven't even been able to get a look at our own Solar System.

It can't be. I used to think that there is no way that we could ever come in contact with them. but when you consider that everything in the universe isnt moving at the same speed. it may happen one day. or a gigantic radioactive cloud could pass buy and fry us all like we were in a microwave.
our own moon was created by an object colliding with the earth. and it is possible that the very very beginning of life came from a comet or other fast moving object from another planet. like pollen floating from plant to plant.
christians cant tell you where on earth god/heaven/hell is or where in outer space. but somehow want you to believe they exist

It would be impossible to prove that there is no other life in the universe, since we would have to look everywhere in the entire universe to come to that conclusion. Any one saying that there is no other life in the universe doesn't really know what they are talking about. Like you said, if you look at the odds, the universe is probably teaming with life.

All we can say FOR SURE is that it is the only planet we KNOW OF RIGHT NOW that has life on it.
But there are a number of people whose religious beliefs prohibit them from even considering the possibility of life on other planets.

Well, there's certainly the *possibility* of ET life.
But - so far - the only planet with life on it that we are aware of - is Earth.
I think it's absurd to think the Earth is the only planet with life also - but... try to prove it.
