Susie! The 3 WISE MEN brought what God told them to and the Star directed their Way! Believe it or not it's true! The things they had were Gilts with a meaning to them from God to bring to Jesus! nope. They wouldn't have need to asked for directions, they would have fallowed the star. The gifts the Wise men Brought WERE practicle.

I think that they would have definitely been more efficient but would have spent hours beforehand just trying to think of if Mary would really like their gift and if it was too presumptuous of them to get Jesus something extravagant without asking first.
