Um, I don't think any 14 year old girl *needs* anything materialistic like a wardrobe or the latest tech or anything like that. They can start getting jobs at that age and start buying whatever they want, if they're willing to work for it.
I think they should have a happy, safe life.

Every teenager (male or female) should be given goals and activities. These activities will enable them to become more social with friends that have similar interests and their style will reflect the group that they are socializing with. The goals themselves will boost their self-esteem and keep them from rationalizing self-destructive bahavior that all of us are tempted by at that age.

im 14 and not a parent.
but i think all 14 year olds should have someone in there
life they could talk to. no matter what.
also clothing,a roof over our heads,food,water.. the needs.
i love ipods and cells. but if i could just have my mom and dad. i would be fine.

Things to have -Two parents involved in her life (atleast one, I know not everyone has someone who has stuck beside them), lots of sound advice, friends that will bring her up and not tear her down.
Things not to have - boyfriends, excessive time spent away from the house that you don't know about.

I think every 14 year old female should have closed legs. Too many of them are having opened legs this day in age, makes me sick.

Frankly, the most important thing a 14 year old girl should have is a fail-proof plan for refusing sex.
And a good health education wouldn't hurt either.

I think she needs to have your support. She needs to feel loved, respected, happy. But more importantly needs both of her parents. Material things are not always the answer.

a chore list
a book on manners and ediquette

a roof over her head
her virginity
makeup (if she wears it)
lots of love from her family
a cell phone
and a job!

a cell phone, best one is for them is the juke or a sidekick
an ipod, the best is an ipod touch
5 pairs of jeans at least. sheneeds variety
plenty of lip gloss that doesnt come off easily
mascara
eyeshadow in MANY colors
VARIETY IS IMPORTANT!!!
you need TONS of clothes and dont get too many dresses because she willALWAYS want a new one for every dance that comes up.
she needs shirts with logos and at least 1 comfy sweatshirt thats still stylish but for those days when she has her period and feels bloated then that is perfect. (my daughter has one for those days)
Clothes are important and a cell phone is a must
for gifts, GO WITH GIFT CARDS!!! They want to picktheir own things!!! do not buy themclothes they wont wear!
