i had to stop do to personal problems, would i be allowed to go back?

can i still go back even if it was in 2005 and will i still be able to get a program to pay for it or would i have to pay for the remaining time?

It depends a great deal on where you are and where you studied. In some areas you can only get credit for units you have finished.
Contact the institution you wish to study at and ask them.

Do you want to return to same school or transfer? School are required bt State Boards to keep records of your hours. Many states allow reciprocity with other states and almost all schools within the same state will give you all your credit hours or most of them..The same school is your best bet if you have no oersonal reasons for wanting to change. LOL
