It was stripped from Hornswoggle months ago and it was just forgotten.Did they just do away with it?

I think we have seen the last of the cruiser title, Vince mcmahon has never really 'got' cruiser style wrestling. never treating it as a proper form a wrestling more a novelty act. In the past the wwe has tried to push a cruiser division, noteably when it replaced its own light-heavyweight belt with the more prestiegous wcw cruiser belt (later the wwe cruiser belt). Vince and steph still have no idea how to book cruiserweights. In the same way the Hardcore and european title bit the dust so has the cruiser belt.

They just retired the Cruiserweight title and they were supposed to create a new title to replace the Cruiserweight title.

All they did was remove it from Hornswoogle when it was reveald that he is a Mcmahon.
It's part of this tough Love thing with Vince and his"son".
I'm sure it will be back.

I have a feeling it may be gone. But I think it should return and they should put not only the cruiser weights but a couple divas in competition for it every once in awhile.

There was nothing that they could do with the title anymore no rivalries or anything so they just decided to cut off the dead weight

when gregory helms and chavo gurreuro comes back they will be moved to ecw wil the cruiserweight divison and that will be ecw second title aswell

On their website they have it listed as vacant. I don't know why they don't put it on somebody in order to give them the rub of having a title.
