It is the Winter Solsice!!! The Saturnalia!!! The celebration of the anciant god mitra (12/25) longest day of the year, & the shortest night! The rebirth of the sun god!!! To be worshipped on Sunday!!! Baal worship!!! Christianity is the modern day clone of that worship! satan has done a fine job at deceiving the masses. Oh, I almost forgot, where was that christ guy supposed to fit in there? The birth of the true MESSIAH YAHSHUA was never commanded for us to be concerned with! Look up the origions of christmas in your encyclopedia, get educated, stop imbarrasing your self talking about christmas. Only christians are uninformed as to the truth concerning the holidays. & The truth is not that hard to find; all you have to do is look! The answer is meant to be informative; no offense is intended!

I say Christmas! I'm tired of people being afraid to say Merry Christmas. Christ is Christmas, people need to accept it and move on. People say they don't want to offend anyone but Christ is what we celebrate on Christmas so I don't get what the problem is. Without Christ there would be no Christmas.

I say Christmas because it IS Christmas. Why would I call it anything else?
A thing is what it is. Calling it by a different name doesn't change it's state of being.
Anyone who gets offended at Christmas because people are celebrating Christmas and saying "happy Christmas" is an idiot and shouldn't be listened to.

When I am talking to the general public, I say happy holidays.
This is only a pleasantry, and to be polite. I work for a Jewish owned company, so it would not be nice if I tried to shove my religion down their throat.
But when I am at home, or in a setting where i know most people are going to be celebrating Christmas, I say, Merry Christmas.

I say Christmas (as in 'The Christmas tree looks nice)- I write x-mas (as in I'm typing my friend a text message 'happy x-mas!) and I would say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays (as in 'Merry Christmas Billy Bob Joe' or 'Happy Holidays Sara Sue').

I try to be sensitive to the people that I am wishing for. As an example I would not use Christmas if I knew the people were Jewish. At the same time I celebrate Christmas, that is the reason for me. If the people are my friends they will already know that and wish me health and happyness in return. It would be a real shame if we have to turn politaclly correct to have friends.pp
