Divide the shape into smaller shapes. Draw aline form top corner to top corner of the main shape, Rectangle 22x9=198.
Area of door. 3x7=21. Subtract from main area. 198-21=177.
Top triangle. area =base/2 xheight = 5/2 x4= 10.
Divide the area remaining into 3. 2 triangles and a rectangle by drawing 2 vertical lines from bottom corners of top triangle to top of main rectangle. This gives Triangle on left Area=6
Triangle on right. Area =11 Central rectangle Area= 10.

Total area= 177+10+6+11+10= 214. All areas are, of course, in square feet. Hope this helps.

Total area= area of triangle + area of trapezium + area of rectangle

area of triangle = base x height /2
area of trapezium = (sum of parallel sides/2)X(distance between the parallel sides)
area of rectangle = width x length
