I would have to say the jews their suffering and persaction have been documented in many ancient documents, since ancient times to modern times. they are the only nation/culture that i know about that has been through this all throughout history never heard of onother one that has suffered for thousands of years like jews have

shamanism - not a popular answer....mainly because EVERY new religion persecuted us lot PAST extinction! and the jews mighta got it bad at the hands of the Nazis...but did you know what us brits did to the palestinian muslims BEFORE raising the state of israel circa 1900? google THAT for a lil perspective!

but still - all this is modern stuff - the wicca and all the other shamanist religions were OBLITERATED by the catholic and christian churches in every corner of the globe a thousand years or more before our lil modern disputes kicked off...and i think the same is true of arab states re islaamic sufism which has alot in common with shamanism...you want body counts? shamanism 'wins as victim' every time.

=)

I would guess Africans who were enslaved for hundreds of years. That would be mostly west Africa but really all parts of Africa. Jews would be second. I agree, women and the poor are broad categories of persecuted persons.

It's not a nation or religion, but women and the poor have always been persecuted.
