Jomamo - yes I think the family must have guessed or been suspicious. I read a quote from his 80 year old aunt today, she stated that she's a cynic and that she doubted if he even got his feet wet!!

John Darwin and his wife are very stupid people. Not only have they caused a lot of heart-ache and pain to their family they have wasted tax payers money and police time .

Silly Darwin was having a tough day and had stretched himself out on the couch to do a bit of what he thought to be well-deserved complaining and self- pitying.
He moaned to his mom and brother, "Nobody loves me ... the whole world hates me!"
His brother, busily occupied playing a game, hardly looked up at him and passed on this encouraging word: "That's not true, Silly Darwin. Some people don't even know you."

Incredible! they must´ve got the idea from a film. What day and age do they think we live in? Did they really think they could hide forever? I wonder what´ll happen to them now. Will they have to return the insurance money?

Like as in Charles Darwin? The man who discover'ed evolution. Which is still the only scientific theory that explains how we came to be. He probably thinking, I got a answer to a long asked question with examples to back it up. Like his first discovery "the finch".

Are you referring to the Darwin Awards? Some of those stories are not true you know. Also, given a large enough population, you will always be able to find someone who died due to some pretty stupid circumstances.

They are pretty retarded, huh? To answer your question, they are very stupid. They must have been thinking of getting away with some kind of props for their ignorant antics, but in the end, they proved to only exist for the world's entertainment, and to serve as an example of "what not to do!"

If he really did fake his own death, then very stupid I would say - how they thought they would get away with that I don't know. If it turns out that it was for real, then not so stupid I suppose, just unfortunate.

if his wife did not skip on him with a younger man in Panama with all the money , he would not have turned up in the U.K for his renvenge, wait and see, this will be the case.
The pair of them should get ten years in prison for putting sub aqua Divers life at risk while looking for that prick.
