Mark Foley replace into pronounced on for an prolonged time after the election. that's no longer a controversy, because of the fact this is been replaced by using different subject concerns like Senator Vitter's prostitutes and Senator Craig's gay affairs and propositions. the enormous element approximately Mark Foley replace into no longer his preying on youthful boys, however the undeniable fact that the completed Republican management knew, aided, and needless to say authorized of his habit. Are you asserting that lies and sexual immorality on the component to politicians are actually not newsworthy? If we are in a position to impeach a Democratic president for having a consensual affair, why is baby molestation on the section Republicans, and the hide up of the comparable, no longer uneven newsworthy on your eyes?

Considering the Right Wing has made "character" a key part of their election strategy, having someone facing those types of charges is a big news story. Was the media supposed to ignore it because he was a Republican, but sit up and take notice on every shred of info about Clinton/Lewinsky in the 1990s? If anything, the Republicans started all that by focusing on Clinton's sex life in order to try to trap him during the impeachment circus in the 1990s. Their "press leaks" in that time were all too convenient. And don't try to tell me the press wasn't reporting on that story. You couldn't get away from it. Each media outlet was trying to be the latest to come up with a "scoop."
The "wrath of God"? LOL redrum7, you have no idea what you're talking about, unless you presume that God is only on one side of the political spectrum. Jesus wasn't political; he was focused on people's hearts, getting them into a closer relationship with the Father. In fact, it was the Pharisees who were political.
The wrath of God will be poured out on all mankind in the last days, but it won't be just on one political party. Mankind can never be good enough for God's holiness. Those that accept Christ as Savior will be saved from God's judgment because His Son already paid the price for our sins at Calvary. But God doesn't judge one person or group of people at the exclusion of another. All people fall short of His Holy standards.

There's always something like that. The Dems are the masters of the pre-election slam. In 2004 it was Bush's National Guard record (RatherGate). In 2000 it was the "revelation" of Bush's DUI in 1976.
Nothing new in 2006. I'm actually looking forward to seeing what sort of tripe they can find for 2008.

Interesting fact that. It hasn't worked out to well for the Democrats. Their approval rating is 4 times lower than the President that they attack with personal insults, halve truths.
Perhaps it is the wrath of God for the way they treated Mark Foley, and the President.

No, no one noticed. He was a factor in the elections and once the elections were done, he no longer was. Media doesn't tend to cover non-stories. Notice how it covers Brittany Spears when she's running over reporters feet or hitting other cars but it doesn't when she eats breakfast or puts her pajamas on? But it was reported when he was in and out of rehab and his statement about being molested when younger.
So you are biased and uninformed, too.

I also notice that there was NO evidence of him making lewd comments to anyone under 18. The people he "texted" were all 18 or over when the messages were sent. Otherwise there would have been a prosecution.

Here are a few articles from the New York Times alone all of the articles are about the Mark Foley scandal and all of them were after the November 2006 elections. Maybe you didn't pay attention to the media reporting about it but they did.
