No, no one noticed. He was a factor in the elections and once the elections were done, he no longer was. Media doesn't tend to cover non-stories. Notice how it covers Brittany Spears when she's running over reporters feet or hitting other cars but it doesn't when she eats breakfast or puts her pajamas on? But it was reported when he was in and out of rehab and his statement about being molested when younger.

I also notice that there was NO evidence of him making lewd comments to anyone under 18. The people he "texted" were all 18 or over when the messages were sent. Otherwise there would have been a prosecution.
