I love the music in its self period. I love an artist with conviction and passion in there music like Prince, Mary J, and Keisha especially when its live musician playing along with soul..

I think I have pretty much lost the love for it and migrated over the SOUL music side of things. R&B is known for the realness and soulfulness but it got lost somewhere along the way. I love a passionate singer, like you said and the musical/lyrical content goes just as far with me.

R&B is so cheesy nowadays. Put you to bed is a great example. I dont wanna hear a grown man groan. Too much bull. It all sounds the same.

i like Motown. If you consider R Kelly R&B, i don't really like it. The lyrics are pretty lame
