Of course there are also Dutch people who do these things. But as well as all other countries in the world, we know that it is not wise to use any kind of drugs or smoke. Yet some of us do. It is not because it is permitted to use it that we do it more than in countries where it is forbidden. Figures show that in the Netherlands fewer people are addicted to drugs than in our surrounding countries. That is the only reason why we think it is wise to allow people to use it, instead of making it criminal fact.
So the answer is: yes, Dutch people also do this, but by far less then the tourists.

My grandfathers girlfriend is from Germany, and I asked her this once. She told me that most people in Amsterdam just go on with life, and the tourists partake much more than the locals do.

in the red light disrict it mostly tourists. the farther away from ther you are the more locals youll find .

99% are tourists, only very few might be dutch.
