I just got an e-mail that said the UK removed all chapters about the Holocaust from their history books because it "offends" the Muslim community. Is this true?

I was e-mailed that they removed it because the Muslim community says it didn't happen and us saying it does and making their children learn about it in school offends them.

I don't think the UK would be able to allow that. Holocaust was, and it is sad, a reality.
And this is not cos a minority of stupid negationists said it didn't happen that the UK government would remove all chapters in relation with Holocaust of history books.

Why would the removal of the event from the history books which was a slaughter of Jews offend Muslims?

Also: its illegal in Europe to deny the holocaust happened.

That is an urban myth. One school removed the reference--don't know if it was public or not.
