Why do people....?

open up such big cans of worms on yahoo answers? People asking questions about the Middle East and religion, I mean, what is the point? We have all heard it before, and you know you are going to get some hateful answers, so why bother?

To be provocative and get attention because they are obviously starved for that type of attention from their real lives.
