I can watch, but I don't watch the entire time as I donate platelets which can take up to an hour and a half to complete. Been doing it for over 20 years time now so it is no longer any concern. But I have never had a fear of needles or blood.

I have a hard enough time watching people get jabbed with needles in real life. I always turn away.. I won't faint if I see myself getting stuck, but it seems to hurt alot worse when I look at it happening..

look away - I don't feel it as much as I would if I watched!

Even though I was a blood donor when living in the UK I absolutely hate the sight of needles, can't watch people on the TV pretending to inject - makes my tummy turn over in knots!

Yuk yuk and double yuk!

I watch I want to make sure the person knows what they are doing

Its not the needle that scares me its the dummy behind the needle that terrifies me

I totally have to look away while they insert the needle - otherwise I'll pass out or freak out or something.

I watch, except for the putting the needle in...I can't watch that or I throw up. Don't know why I am ok once it is in there.

I look away when they stick that big ol' needle in ya, then I look but see the blood gushing into the tube so then I get sick and turn away. and try to hold my tounge when the stick it in farther without telling you they're gonna stick it in farther.
