PROBLEM 1:

The factors of 48 are
1 x 48, 2 x 24, 3 x 16, 4 x 12, 6 x 8.

Don't repeat any pairs and don't leave any out. Make sure they all multiply to be 48.

PROBLEM 2:

The factors of 84 are:
1 x 84, 2 x 42, 3 x 28, 4 x 21, 6 x 14, 7 x 12

PROBLEM 3:

88 / 2 = 44
44 / 2 = 22
22 / 2 = 11
11 / 11 = 1

2 x 2 x 2 x 11

2^3 x 11

PROBLEM 4:

476 / 2 = 238
238 / 2 = 119
119 / 7 = 17
17 / 17 = 1

2 x 2 x 7 x 17
= 2² x 7 x 17

PROBLEM 5:

GCF(132, 220)

132 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 11
220 = 2 x 2 x 5 x 11

Common factors:
2 x 2 x 11 = 44

PROBLEM 6:

GCF(348, 426)
348 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 29
426 = 2 x 3 x 71

Common factors:
2 x 3 = 6
