And about the onloads...I'm just starting out so I don't know too much about them, in fact I originally had
before I was corrected by a friend.
Anyways, I have no CSS set up. startTime is only a time script, there's a greeting that will say "Good morning/afternoon/evening" depending on the day. Message is just a pop up window. Both scripts are fine, they aren't the problem (proved by the fact the page works fine without the counter).
...and why not onload="message(); startTime();" ...? or better yet, combine the functions of message and startTime into one external javascript routine which itself calls the two... at any rate, if it diddles the css settings, THAT could be part of your problem: check it out! And the onload boogers have to execute before the call to the statcounter can get there, so you might want to try reload to see whether your other stuff shows up, THEN.
You arent going to like it, yet hit counters suck. All it takes is one centred visitor to sit down down there with their finger on the refresh button and unexpectedly it spikes up one thousand. Use internet site information for greater desirable reporting.
