No theres nothing wrong, Each green segment represents the controllers connected, if you have one green segment it mens you have 1 controller connected, if its green on two segments it means you have two controllers connected etc.

Just watch out for the red ones and your ok!

that 1 green light just represents the number of controllers connected to the console. If you have 2 players then u have 2 lights. It only has 4 because it only supports up to 4 controllers.

Look at the blade (center button on the controller) and you will see a similar green light in the same quadrant (should be top left). If you hook up a second controller, a second green light will show up on the xbox and the second controller will have a green light around the blade turn on (top right I think). It tells you which controller is player one, which one is player two, and so on.

Dude, the same thing happened to me too a couple months. Here is some troubleshooting tips -take out the hard drive turn on the xbox and see of it still works -Unplug everything and wait a couple minutes -Or if those dont work turn on the box and wrap a towel around it so u essecential heat the ciructs back into function I had to send mine in to the XBOX fixer-upers and they sent me a brand new one for FREE (free shipping and everything). SO if those dont work just calll XBOX

No, The one light stands for the one controller that is connected to the 360, if you were to hook up another controller it would show as two lights.
