Use a cup white vinegar. Be sure to rinse well.:)

my mom used to put vinegar mixed with water through her coffee pot to clean it. mix them in equal parts. the smell is horrible bu tit seemed to work well. after you are done, run plain water through it a few times so when you make coffee again, it doesn't taste like crap.

Most people use vinger, but lemon juice is an acid so it oughta work just fine.

It'll work, but so does vinegar.
Just rinse with plain water afterwards.
