UK Outlook for Monday 10 Dec 2007 to Wednesday 19 Dec 2007:

Rain and some strong winds over eastern parts initially should clear during Monday morning, with sunny spells and showers in the west then following eastwards. There should be plenty of fine, dry weather on Tuesday, although wet, windy conditions are expected to reach the northwest later on. The unsettled conditions are then forecast to spread over other western areas during Wednesday, reaching all parts on Thursday with some heavy rain and strong winds at times, mainly in the west. Next weekend and the start of the following week are expected to be unsettled too with brisk westerly winds, however some more settled weather is possible by mid-week especially in the south, as pressure starts to rise. Temperatures will be around normal generally, perhaps rising a little later next week.
