You are correct.
It is in all encyclopedias that it was a Roman sun God's celebration day, not Jesus' birth.
He was born in the fall.
And did you know that when the astrologers went to visit him, he was around the age of 2, not an infant?
There are so many falsehoods surrounding this holiday, that it is considered pagan by true Christians.

I dont know why we celebrate it in December, because Christ was born in spring. I dont really care either, because we are still celebrating him being born. And, without Christmas, there would be no good holidays in December.

Not everyone celebrates Christmas as Christ's birthday. And some people may say it is his birthday. It all depends on your point of view.

Christmas as well as Easter were originally the dates of pagan festivals which the christians church hijacked to make christianity a bit less of a shock and change to the pagan peoples. I believe christmas was originally the festival of saturnalia and easter was probably a pagan festival celebrating the start of spring.
Hope that helps :0~)

Because a long time ago when the Christian pushed the Pagans undergroung and forced them to quit practicing their religion, they change everything. They converted the holiday to Christmas which they decided to celebrate in December, which I think it is really July.

God did no longer see it appropriate to jot down the date of the beginning of the flesh of Jesus the Christ in the Holy Scriptures/Bible because of the fact what God needs His people to rejoice is Jesus Christ because of the fact the peace because of the fact he's the Lamb that replace into killed in [Exodus 12] with the intention to pave the way for the Jews or Israel to go away Egypt and ended the greater effective than 4 hundred years of slavery in Egypt. Jesus Christ is the "Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the international" [John a million: 29]. he's the pascal Lamb or the 'passover' Lamb in [Exodus 12]. in different words the emblem of the Lamb that replace into killed whose blood replace into put in the door and lintel of the homes of the Jews/Israel is Christ Jesus. those homes with the blood of the Lamb have been passover by using the plague that killed all the 1st born in Egypt. what does this advise? the peace is in the homestead of the Jews/Israel that replace into passover by using the plague that killed all the 1st born in Egypt in the homestead without the blood of the Lamb on the door. for this reason the peace is the Lord Jesus Christ, this is being worshipped and celebrated because of the fact the ceremonial dinner of the LORD. peace ought to be in the heart of guy on a daily basis and not purely an afternoon in a twelve months this is as being practiced by using the pseudo christian communities in the international immediately. the unleavened bread is the emblem of the gospel and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ as unfold and taught by using Jesus Christ and His apostles and disciples because of the fact the way of existence for all Christians. [a million Corinthians eleven: 19-34] and not eating the literal unleavened bread as being executed by using maximum non secular communities. in case you have know-how please comprehend. to God be the distinction!

Because we all like to party. It's easier to have a specific date.
You have to remember Jesus' birth was in a time of oral tradition, and like that telephone game, things get changed over time. People are fallible and members of the early church were fallible--sorry pope, but history is CLEAR on this--and made decisions for poltical reasons, expediency, inaccurate data, etc.
When you say Check It Out, you might give us a clue where we're supposed to go to check it out.

I don't personally, but I think many do because of tradition. I personally don't believe something is right just because my parents did/do it. Each of us has to prove what is true and right before God for ourselves.
I am happy however that God sent his only begotten son to the Earth to die for our sins. That is the act (His sacrifice) that I focus on more than his birth; though we can learn so much from every part of Jesus time on Earth as it is recorded in the Bible.
