I will attend the funeral and will pay tribute as appropriate. She was a Scotch drinker, so I will pour a bottle her favorite Scotch on her grave.
But I'll pass it through my kidneys first.

Actually, I wouldn't want to be at the funeral, because their family will all be talking behind my back, and besides, they're depressing.
Also, if the death was somewhat suspicious, guess who the #1 suspect is? So, I think I'm going to stay as far away from that funeral as possible.
To tell the truth though, I haven't kept in contact with any of my ex-GFs, especially since I got married

My relationship with my ex ended on a fairly ok note. It was his Mom and one sister that took it worse. I swear, it's like I broke up with THEM! And I think as much as I would like to go and pay my respects, those two witches would probably run me off in a real horrible way. So I guess I'll just send flowers anonymously.
His other sister was my best friend and I think about that too, if she were to pass before me, I would not even be able to say my goodbye's. It's sad to think how personal they took it and not to mention stupid. But oh well, I know I'm the better person here. :o)

I would go and do a dance of joy knowing that he probably faced his worst fear of dying alone and pathetic...
I would pop a bottle of champagne over his corpse like I had just won the super bowl.
Funny that a guy who's worst fear was to die alone and unloved would make the lives of the person he was with so bad that he would be dumped so that he could use the pity of being kicked out as the lour to be able to snag his next victim.

Not if you have kids...those of you who think this is sick..you never had a nasty ex in your life thats for sure. I'm just the wicked step-mother so I would volunteer to go and check for a pulse--what my husband had to go through you wouldn't believe.....

No i wouldn't do that! I would go to support my children and probably even cry for their loss. I would also want to pay respect to my children's step-mother. My ex is still a good guy. We just couldn't make it. Their step mother is a dear friend to me. may sound like a weird relationship, but it is healthy for the kids and that is all I care about.

if his already dead i think you should have to go to the funeral to pay respect coz you to have shared moments togother and loved each other... you dont go there to check his pulse. that would be so disrespectful and you'll be so stupid and dumb if you do that

No, but when mine did I called the police department in that jurisdiction and talked with the coroner to make sure what I had been told was true and that he was not faking it to get out of the back child support.
Peace.

Yes, I would be sad no matter how much bad stuff you went through with an ex you will still think about the good times and mourn.

no. my decision on the funeral would have more to do with whether my children needed my support there, whether it would upset his 2nd wife and other things. it would be about whether my presence would serve the situation. i do not wish my exes dead. I wish them happy life.
