My stove is making this continuous weird clicking noise. Where is it coming from? I THOUGHT it was a gas leak, but either I nor my family members, are showing symptoms of poison.

Look I could get help, but I was assured not too long ago that there is nothing wrong, and I was also told these mixed answers before...I NEED A STRAGHT FORWARD, RESEARCH ANSWER. I'VE TRIED TO DO IT ON MY OWN, BUT I'M A BUSY PERSON. I'm pretty sure it isn't a gas leak...hoping....but if so, I don't need to hear rude comments.

its the 'clicker'. Its a spark inside to light the gas, it must be stuck on. You should check to see if there are any buttons stuck, or maybe cut the power in your house for a second to reset it (be careful you dont need the power for anything!)

If you have electrick ignition and it works from a batterie it could be that the batteries are low? which would make it do weired things like in a tv remote when the battery is low it changes channel on its own.

is it electric igniting,? that may be where the snapping is coming from, instead of having a pilot light it uses electricity to ignite the burners,

Does this happen when you are using the oven? If so, it's the oven expanding with the elevated temperature and contracting when it cools.
