yes, I was trying to figure out if my computer was on drugs nd that's why spell check wasn't working. Anyway, I have come to terms with it, and just use "lots"
So instead of: I get a lot of email.
I will type: I get lots of email.

I remember in 7th grade english (but I can't remember what I had for breakfast today) they told us it had a space, but was considered one word. I guess everything changes......

yes i was but if i'm typing email or sending a text i tend to short hand to 'alot'. But if i'm handwriting then it is always, always 'a lot' cos it bugs me if its one word not two!!!!
