I feel the same way.
I moved to Alabama a year ago. and can't understand why most of the black people are so hard to get along with. I have traveled the world, many times. been to Africa many times and have NEVER had a problem with ANY people of a different color to me.
I treat people with decency and courtesy and expect them to treat me the same way. YET here in the south it's so hard sometimes.
I don't like anyone to treat me with surliness but the people here are so prejudice against white people. I would love for everyone to just look at each other as regular people, as I do. I know their ancestors had a very hard time and we can't change the past, but lets all look foreword and be kind to each other.
We ALL live in a Great country but if we can't even get along with each other, it brings our country down and us with it. America used to be known as a proud nation. but what have we to be proud of. if we don't like each other just because of the color of our skin.
If WE don't change it, each and every one of us, regardless of Color who will?
UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL.
I don't want to fall... Do you?
The next person you see, say hi and smile. regardless of their color.
One Small step will bring about Giant Leaps.

It would be a wonderful thing if we could all get along, but I fully believe that will never happen.
Possibly we can at least learn to be accepting of others whether or not we agree with them, or their lifestyle... but I highly doubt that too.
It seems to be human nature... we love to fight... just like every other animal.
I believe there is a balance... we have to have good and bad... with no bad we would not appreciate the good... so I guess that theory also lends itself to human behaviour.

No, violence is usually the best way to resolve problems. Besides, war is a way to keep the population of the planet under control, even though it's a bloody way to do it.

too much pride for anyone to admit they are wrong. and even when someone does, the other side often just gloats about it. i wish it could be so, but humanity has been this way forever. i don't see it changing anytime soon.

apparently not, it would be REALLY AWESOMELY GREAT if we could though.
looks like there will always be wars of some kind be it at home with family or in other peoples countries fighting their battles...shame really...what I'd do for a peace full life

We can but we choose not to..... and you know a lot of times including me we don't use common sense and if we were to use that a Lil more often a lot of arguing would stop BUT LIKE THEY SAY common sense isn't that common!
