Starting it needs to be in P(park) or N (neautral) and your foot on the brake pedal. With your foot still on the brake, put it into D or D4 the others are for low ranges like with a caravan or trailer no need to worry on that though. The car will control the gear changes. The rest is the same as normal.
Pulling off you will have to vary the thottle, a little practise and you be ok.
Oh and dont try to move the selector to change gear as it wont be doing the gearbox much good. lol

There are 5 or 6 letter P- parking, R- reverse, D4- drive uses all 4 gears, D3- drive uses first 3 gears, D2- drive uses first 2 grears, D1- uses only first gear. Turning on the car is easy, all you do is turn the ignition. To start moving just go to D4 and you dont have to do anything else, or you can start from D1 and go up to D4 if you want. To park you just stop and move up to P and turn off the car. You dont need to put up the parking break.

There is no clutch so you will only use your right foot.

Start the engine, step on the brake then move the gear to D or Forward.

Once you let go of the brake, the car will start moving, then you shift your feet to the gas (accelerator)

The faster you go, just step harder. To slow down or brake, just step on the brake.

If you stop or at signals, press on the brake and shift the N or Neutral then let go. Same with reverse.

To park, step on the brake and move to P. Then remove the key.

You don't have to worry about shifting gears. There are no gears to change as the car will shift gear based on speed by itself.

Good luck. ^_^

The selector is marked PLNDR
P is for parking. You'll find it's there when you get in.
Before you start the engine, move it to N (neutral)
When you're ready to go, put it in D (drive), remove the handbrake and drive away. You don't have to worry about gears, it does it all for you.
If you're moving very slowly uphill and the car is labouring, put it in L (low). You rarely need to use this.
And R is for reverse. The lever will only go there when you're stationary.

The only hard bit is when you have to get the car out of a tight parking space. Put your left foot on the brake, right foot on the accelerator and use D and R - you'll find the footwork comes naturally.

Put it in Drive.
Press the right pedal to move and go faster
Press the left pedal (the really big one) to slow down and stop.
Keep the Left pedal pressed when stationary at lights etc otherwise the car will move forward.
Oh - and point it in the right direction

Driving an automatic is a piece of p155 and quite boring.

The same as a normal car except there is no clutch or constant gear change. One push of the lever into drive and away you go. Simple as that (providing you remember to release the handbrake).

particular, maximum folk of people do force automatics. Its no longer basic to discover a instruction manual transmission on a automobile once you purchase a sparkling one from the dealership. some automobiles do no longer also have a instruction manual trans as an selection. Its much less complicated to discover a instruction manual on a truck or activities automobile, or imports. uncertain why this is the case, i think of it because of the fact thats what maximum individuals want.

The same as a car with manual gears except it is easier, especially when moving slowly in queues.

you are wrong, they do have gears & clutch, only the car selects them for you!

the other gears are for snow driving etc , they are real gears and yes you do selsct them like a normal 'geared car' and the clutvh is on the gear handle ...
