My Sims 2 game downloads aren't in the game?

Question

Alright, so I download cars and I HAVE The Sims 2 Nightlife, and most of the cars, if not all, do not show up on the game. Just 1 worked between many of them. Please help, I already downloaded the meshes but the meshed aren't working either.

Please help, and ASAP.

Ok have you downloaded Custome Content before? If not then you need to create a downloads folder here Start>My Documents> EA Games> The Sims2 and add all of your downloads there, also make sure then when you load your game you have your Custom Content enabled.

Also are you sure that they are drivable cars and not just decorative?

If bone of this helps I would suggest going to the sims2 website and joiining the forums there, or go to the EA website and go to the support centre.

Assuming you have enabled custom content (should show up to do so when you load the game; if not, you can access it from the options menu)...

Cars are typically recolors of existing meshes, so you probably need CEP (Color Enabler Package), which will open items that are able to be recolored. You can download it here: http://sims.ambertation.de/cep.shtml
