The question says it all, needn't to be explained. However, wish to know your view point about life, whether comfortable or agonising.

All life is filled with both comfort and agony. The up's the down's, good's and bad's...this reminds me of Poison's song "Every Rose has its Thorn" life is kinda like a rose, start from scratch, grow into ones own morals and beliefs, hits those rocky, troublesome, thorny times in life, but in the end...is a masterpiece, inspiring to everyone else.

I agree YOU may have fallen and YOU may Bleed. BUT, the way I look at it, is. If you fell and were hurt, you can either bleed all over the place and not let yourself get any better or you can pick yourself up dust yourself off and start all over again. but don't give up on life just because you bled a little. Life is to be lived to the fullest whether you bleed or not.
We were all put on the Earth to accomplish something, what that "something" is , is for you to find out. to say you fell upon the Thorn of life and bleed makes me think you don't have a very happy existence, its a sad way to look at things.
Wake up and smell the Roses instead of letting the Thorns prick you.

In my youth, "life" was indeed a thorn...from 2yrs to 24yrs I bled my confusion all over...nothing made sense in the beginning, and later I didn't fit in. Then I had a child and my focus shifted from me to him. As the years went on, there were moments of thorns and moments of roses. However, I no longer bleed; rather, I accept much, with some exceptions. I have reconciled myself to my choices, and I take responsibility for them. There is an occasional "shaking up," but I bear them knowing that I must burn through them. I am Sirius

Agonising until one comes to the Absolute truth. In a nut shell-We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies.
This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. We fell here due to envying Gods position. He made the material world for those who want to try to live separately from Him (Which is impossible because He is actually everywhere). After many lifetimes of trying to be happy in this temporary world one becomes frustrated and board and begins to question their existence. We then seek out real happiness, and when one becomes sincere God reveals how to come back Home. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which begins with the chanting of the Maha Mantra (the great mantra for deliverance from all suffering and illusion), which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can give up all material attachments and fully surrender to God and return to the eternal Kingdom, where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. I am so glad I know how to act and be happy. Everyone can if they know How.

It seems that this statement is becoming more true for almost everyone by the day. We have high numbers of poverty struck families, we have children having children, we have a war that no one really beleives in and a very high national debt, not to mention the number of catastrophies that happen each year. If you look on a whole then yes the statement is very accurate, but if you are looking at each individual then you know it will change based on each situation and birth.

I don't think there's a thorn in my life. Of course there are times when things are very difficult but I am learning to live my life based on faith without which it is impossible to please God.
I don't base my life in the facts around me but In The Sacred Words of God. My goal is to keep The Peace given to me by Jesus which cannot be described: It doesn't matter what, good or bad, I am based On Jesus, On His Words, On His Wishes for me, so everything else comes afterwards (or better saying everything else is a result of my faith). God knows everything I need! I am searching For His Reign and His Justice first and everything else will be added in my life!

" All we are is dust in the wind"

I think that we're incredibly insignificant, and it can be very daunting at times trying to figgure out our own meaning. I do however, think life is a very special gift, not to be thrown away carelessly.
