i am doing a report on oil....could you help me out...do you know how much longer that the world suppt of oil is going to last??

any other facts about oil or oil drilling would be great too :)

sorry i have no idea but i bet if they come up with something better than oil like electric or steam or solar power or a combination then the oil will last forever !

In my petroleum geology classes, the projected average is about 80 -100 years. I have heard conservative numbers of 60-70 as well.

120 years or so at current consumption rates. It is curiours to know that most of the oil we use was discovered in the last 10 years.
