Personally, I like Claire.....mainly because it's my name. It means bright, shining one.

(I'm 27 and my name is classic, not old fashioned, thank you.)

I really like Clare (but spelled Claire). Its very cute, feminine, and classic but not over used. I also think it is a very fitting name for a woman of any age. I think Kira sounds a little more trendy.

Clare. I have to disagree with the first post ... it's not at ALL as common as Kira, Kyra, Keira, Kiera, Ciara, etc. LOL

Clara is slightly more unusual, and combines the sounds of both. Perhaps another consideration? ;)
