I think the 80's were probably the last decent decade. I'm pretty terrified for my daughter to grow up in this world. So many rules and regulations. It's not like it used to be. I just read in the paper that some kid got convicted of a felony because he broke into a bookstore and stole a $40 pen. It said he was a first time offender. That's scary. Granted I hate thieves but kids make mistakes. If these are the "good" days I can't wait to see the "bad" ones. ok matt

Hah, well those don't sound like good days at all. They sound like the annoying old days. The days of huge hassles!
This reminds me of the Dane Cook joke about the DMV. He says that in the future the DMV (aka: Satan's asshole) will still take like 9 seconds. God c'mon 9 freakin' seconds!

It's hard to say the way the technology is changing so rapidly. She will probably say, back then they had to carry those cumbersone cell phones. Today all we do is speak the commands in our wrist watch.

She will probably say,"I remember when there were a zillion reality TV shows."
and "I remember when they only did brief nudity instead of the whole enchilada on network TV."

There were these metal things called "keys" that unlocked things, instead of our thumbprints doing it.
Can you imagine??? Having to actually CARRY things to unlock doors & start cars with?? I would have lost them all the time... how did they keep up with it all?

In my personal opinion, the "Good Ol' Days" are the 80s. Why? Because all that hair is what made half the bands nowadays.
