I have GMT Time column in XL sheet, I need to convert to CST in next column. How to do?

if I use =C2-TIME(6,0,0), for the 1:58:08 GMT I am not able to get the correct values.

Converting the dates and times in column A from GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) to CST (Central Standard Time).
CST is 6 hours earlier than GMT.

Solution:

Use the TIME function as shown in the following formula:
=A2-TIME(6,0,0)

CST is 6 hours behind GMT.
e.g. if it is 1200 or 12 noon GMT then it will be 0600 or 6am CST.

whats the time difference? and whats the first cell reference of your GMT column (e.g. cell B3)?
